Lost eBits Publishing suffered a major data lose recently requiring the total rebuilding of our website. A failed WordPress update caused a corruption of the database requiring a complete rebuilt affecting three of our websites. As a computer professional Ed is always telling people to back up often. In this case our site was backed up but the backups were corrupted. The key for this and what should have been done to began with is to keep copies of each page and post as they are written so they can easily be reuploaded if needed abd to keep these files in a safe and secure location. Which is what we are doing this time around. Everything is being done in word then stored both locally and remotely just to be safe.
In all honesty the failed upload has worked in our advantage as we fell the new Lost eBits Publishing is better than the old.
